"Here, a hole that fits mine" - Effy, Skins 4X5: Freddie

(kayascollywogs, fuckyeahfreffy)

Freddie's episode of Skins Series 4 is probably the most emotionally-charged, heart wrenching, and intense episode throughout the whole series. I think that this for me is the best episode so far throughout the series. However, I am still holding onto that until I see Effy's episode which happens to be the last one for the second generation. I spent the whole episode crying and I could not contain it. What was my reaction after watching it?

WHY EFFY? WHY? WHY DID YOU DO THAT TO YOURSELF? TO FREDDIE? FREDDIE GAVE YOU HIS PROMISE? (Insert back to crying)

Plot wise aside, I'm sure all of you noticed that there were a lot of beautiful and cinematic shots throughout the episode just like with the previous Freddie episode in Series 3. Beautiful camera shots, beautiful lighting and colors, beautiful music int the background, and with beautiful people to boot who look beautiful together. The camera just really love them don't they. The world is just unfair

Although not really in skins-fashion, I am still wishing for a happy ending for these two. Guess we will just have to wait and see with the 3 episodes left. Now I shall leave you with the dialogue from my second favorite scene.

Freddie: There's no future without her
Cook: Fuck the future
Freddie: There's nothing anymore!
Cook: There's nothing but now, mate!
Freddie: What have I done? What did I do?
Cook:You went to the end of the fucking earth, man.
The end of the fucking earth. You're gonna have to go further now, mate.
For her. For you. For me.

P.S. Now where is my Freddie?

Is being a "hottie" a curse rather than a blessing?

Around midnight when I still cannot force myself to sleep, I was chatting with my good friend and discussing our theories regarding: a) why we are still single, b) what kind of girls do most guys usually go for, and c) why we are still single. Now wait a minute, just become we are contemplating regarding our singlehood does not mean that we do not actually enjoy it. We in fact embrace being single with wide open arms and enjoy almost every minute of it but we are also very much open to the possibility of being committed with someone when that time comes. Now going back to the so-called theories we created, my friend pointed out that the reason why guys don't approach us is because we intimidate them and that we don't look easy to talk to. Well I have to admit that I may give off that "snobby vibe" during first impressions instead of that "cute and sweet vibe" like you would see in the commercials. Cute and sweet. Now those are the two words that most guys even the bad boys would go for. I then pointed out to my friend that I have observed that there are quite a number of single people who are actually those you would called "hot" and that the sweet and cute ones are actually taken or being courted by a string of guys. (If you feel like I am implying that I see myself "hot" instead of cute, well I actually do even if I do not really live to the standards of being "hot"!)

So is being "hot" actually more of a curse? Nah. There is no such thing as which one is more of a curse or a blessing when it comes to one's status. As cliche as this sounds, what matters is that you are enjoying and living your life for yourself instead of whining may you be single, in a relationship, or just playing the field.

Oh no another blog account

Yesterday was a Saturday and instead of going out and having a good time with my friends, I decided to stay at home since it's been quite awhile for me to just bum and laze around. Aside from watching tv and surfing the internet, how else did I decided to spend the rest of the weekend? Well I spent the whole Saturday deliberating and listing down the pros and cons of making another blog account. Exciting right.

I made an entry in my LiveJournal account about this and listed down all of my online accounts may it be dead or alive. Let me repost it here:

Throughout the whole day I've been deliberating if I should make another blog account either in blogger or wordpress. Yes another blog to add up to the piles of blog I've been creating then abandoning. Another blog to add up to my list of online accounts which by the way can be stressful when you are trying to remember and organized them. Well lets see the list shall we:

The "stable and consistent" accounts:
1. Facebook (Self-explanatory)
2. Tumblr (Whoever thought about reblog is a genius)

The "semi stable but not so consistent" accounts:
1. LJ (Well I was LOA for a year and now just posting random and cryptic messages here)
2. Lookbook
3. DA Portfolio

The "almost inexistent accounts":
1. Deviant Art
2. Multiply (It's Facebook's fault and we all know it)
3. A fashion-centered blog in Blogger (I deleted it after 3 months. As much as I love fashion to death, I just cannot maintain it the way others can)
4. A group fashion blog in Blogger (We decided to go on our separate ways but we are still BFFs)
5. An "anonymous" blog in Blogger (Forgot about it when Thesis came along)

So is creating another blog a wise idea?

Well let's just hope that this will not turn into another case of "another one bites the dust".
