ONE HECK OF A LINEUP THAT WILL SURELY BE WORTH EVERY PENNY

After seeing this poster, for a minute I seriously wished that a) my visa is still alive and kicking, b) instead of October, I should have went to the States this coming April, c) I seriously want to move there asap like in StateOfJoeFashion, and d) that my visa is still alive and kicking. So damn you visa for having to end soon which is one of the main reasons (well money being the other reason) as to why I cannot join my family when they go to the States this April.

Finally found the nail color I've been looking for back in Manila. Nail color by Forever 21

Random update of my so far two weeks and a half stint here:
1. First two weeks: non-stop wake-up calls, itineraries, go here and there, tickets, stations, waiting, boarding, departing, arriving, luggage, walking in the cold.
2. Last 4 days: bumming around a.k.a. getting back on sleep and with my tv shows (Since I'm here in the States, no need for me to download to catch up!)
3. Almost done with my pasalubong
4. I need some self control from Forever 21
5. Fingers cross that my birthday weekend plans in NYC will push through and then Manila bound a week after - just in time for the holidays and OrgCom Christmas Party.
6. Random acquaintances - from a Starbucks barista to a bunch of Filipino kids while watching Pacquiao's match.

Now's the right time for a good song
Got something to say what I can't
Do you feel bad, like I feel bad?
We'll pour us a road, we'll both drink and drive

Graduation

It's been a week since my graduation and just like the weeks prior to it I'm still a bum and relishing it. No plans to look for a job yet for it might have to wait until the start of next year when I get back from my vacation in the States. I've always view graduations as this one emotional celebration with lots of group hugs, tears, and those epic cap throwing moments that we see in the movies and television shows. But for this one there were no tears and those epic cap throwing moments since we weren't allowed (sucks!) instead there were a lot of finding ways to kill time after your name is called, cap throwing attempts, but definitely a lot of cheers and woo girls and boys once it's official that we have indeed graduated. I guess all of us were itching and excited to finally march through the stage, shake the hands and say "Thanks" not "Congrats Bro!" to our dear La Salle Brothers, and grab that hard earned "diploma" (we were given a decoy since we still have to wait for a month for the real diploma to arrive in our hands) that our parents have been waiting for years and now they can sit back, relax since they are officially done with their dues to us...financial dues to be exact. We weren't really emotional during our grad and no tears were shed. I guess because we know that we would still see each other since it is not like we live in different states and that it is not hard for us to keep updated with one another especially with Twitter and Facebook just a click away.

After the ceremony which lasted for almost four hours me and my parents were definitely starving and we decided to have my celebratory lunch at Apartment 1B in Salcedo, Makati instead of going with our reservations in Manila Pen since lunch hours would be almost over by the time we get there. It was nice and quaint celebration with the fam (their samosas are to die for!) and later at night me and a couple of my classmates went to our classmate's grad party. Well what do you know drinking right away after graduation. But hey there was a definitely a reason to drink and cheers to that.

I definitely didn't regret going to College in La Salle and spending three and a half years there. I guess it is true when they say that college will definitely be "the best four years of your life"...well "three and a half years" for my case and just like in Asher Roth's famous song "I love College".
